If you allow people to check in earlier, they can spend money sooner in your resort! My first stay, a woman behind the reservation desk yelled at everyone in line that they would not be checking anyone in until 2pm. I know check in isn't until 4pm, but people usually arrive earlier than that. They have improved in some areas since my first stay.
